Next, as part of the story study, the teacher explores with the class the meaning of the word "aia", distinguishing between the function of a nanny in the past and in the present.
Finally, the students answer a Googleforms questionnaire about the story under study.
Conclusion
" A aia" tells the story of a slave who, in an attitude of loyalty, courage and love, let her only son be killed to save a whole nation/kingdom.
This story appeals to many feelings and provides moments of debate and dialogue with students, opening the way for the expression of opinions, arguments, for or against the attitude of the loyal servant girl, and allows an analysis between the values of the past and those of the present.
In general, the students like this story very much, mainly because the tragic end is not indifferent to them, on an emotional level.
